I couldnt’ stop writing this after watching Peepli Live;
A political,Social moreover Media Satire by Anusha Rizvi that talks about the realistic problems in Indian Society
This would be a classic example How a film or an art form can be the best medium that speaks to society
The movie reminds me of KG George sir’s Malayalam movie ‘Panchavadi Palam’; that was released back in 1984; and the social-political aspects remains same ; only difference one more Media perspective added in and It is hard to believe that our social issues are almost same in twenty-first century as well
Hats off to young female writer/director Anusha Rizvi; This was her debut ( Amazing)
Kudos to Amirkhan-UTV productions for promoting this kind of experimental films
I couldn’t watch the movie in Box office when it released ; some of you might have already watched
I suggest this movie is a must watch, for all those Indian’s who still have few thoughts about our society
